The Middletown Police Communications Center is dedicated to providing the finest and most professional Public Safety Communications Services. The 911 center is the hub and first link in the chain between the public and safety services. The center has an authorized staff of a Communications Supervisor and 14 dispatchers. The dispatchers dispatch for police, fire and ems units and answer 911 calls for the cities of Middletown, Monroe, and Trenton as well as parts of Butler and Warren Counties. The center operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The dispatchers work under a tremendous amount of stress and perform duties with minimal breaks. There are a minimum of 3 dispatchers on duty at all times with 4 required on the busier shifts.
